Bob Voorhees is a Senior Vice President/Investments with the Voorhees Wealth Management Group.  A graduate of Montclair State University in New Jersey, Bob began his investment industry career in A. G. Edwards in 2002 and joined Stifel in 2016 from RBC Wealth Management.  Prior to making his investing hobby his career, he owned several companies and served in multiple corporate executive officer capacities, both of which provided Bob with extensive international business experience.  In 2006, he completed the comprehensive curriculum to earn his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.  He prides himself on building long-lasting relationships and on his commitment to keeping his clients informed and educated.

Bob also attained the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation.  This program builds on the fundamentals of wealth management – our methodology for developing strategies designed to help clients accumulate, protect, and transfer their wealth – with a focus on the duties of good faith and standards of care, insurance reviews, tax strategies, as well as estate planning issues and retirement planning. 

Bob continually furthers his education as part of his commitment to arming himself with the sophisticated knowledge and skills necessary to gain a deeper understanding of his clients’ individual financial objectives and address complex financial needs.

Bob is approved as a Portfolio Manager – Solutions Program, which allows him to manage client portfolios in the Stifel Solutions Program on a discretionary basis.  To qualify for the group, he demonstrated a commitment to comprehensively addressing his clients’ individual investment needs, complimenting their investment knowledge and portfolio management skills, and maintaining an outstanding record of client service.  In addition, he was named to the Stifel Chairman’s Council*, an annual honor recognizing financial advisors for high-caliber performance, professional growth, and leadership in client service.  This honor places Bob among the top financial advisors in the firm.

Bob also serves as a board director for Cantara Design.  He previously served as chairman of the Corona del Mar Chamber of Commerce and was board director prior to becoming chairman.  He is an avid ice hockey player, a casual golfer, and enjoys cooking, traveling, visiting wine country, and sharing nice wine with friends.  He grew up in New Jersey and now lives in Newport Beach with his wife, Cindy, an Episcopal priest and Vicar of St. James Episcopal Church near Lido Island.  Their son, Jason, also lives in the area with his wife, Nicole, and their daughter, Calistoga.


*This year’s Chairman’s Council consists of 194 of Stifel’s top-producing financial advisors.  Stifel currently employs approximately 2,200 financial advisors nationwide.

John Kendall is a Financial Advisor with the Voorhees Wealth Management Group at Stifel.  He earned a B.A. in Administration from California State University-San Bernardino after serving in the United States Navy for five years.  In 1998, John began his investment career with Transamerica Financial Services.  For 18 years, he worked with hundreds of financial advisors to help them implement client-centered investment strategies focused on retirement income, long-term care planning, private equity programs, and alternative investments.  John joined the Voorhees Wealth Management Group in 2016.

John attained the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor® (CRPC®) designation, which prepares individuals for the changing demands of the retirement planning profession.  The CRPC® curriculum emphasizes the importance of understanding each client’s individual financial situation, and then analyzing his or her related needs and identifying investment opportunities that will best address those needs.  

John also attained the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation.  The AIF® designation signifies knowledge of fiduciary responsibility and the ability to implement policies and procedures that meet a defined standard of care.  On an ongoing basis, designees are required to complete continuing education to maintain the AIF® designation.  Furthering his education is part of his commitment to gaining a deeper understanding of your individual financial objectives and address complex financial needs.

John serves as a board member on the Christian Arts Theater board.  He has been married to his wife, Stephanie, for 23 years and is a father to two daughters, Brayden and Addison.  He loves golfing, scuba diving, and riding dual-sport motorcycles.

Rachel Hughes is a Registered Client Service Associate for the Voorhees Wealth Management Group.  She began her financial services career more than 10 years ago and joined Stifel in 2016 from RBC Wealth Management.  

Born and raised in Huntington Beach, California, she graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a B. A. in Modern Literature and resides in Long Beach.  She also holds Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses.  She has extensive knowledge in assisting clients with their accounts and is focused on delivering an outstanding experience to each and every client of the Voorhees Wealth Management Group.  

In her free time, Rachel enjoys relaxing with her family, spending time at the beach, running, and reading.
